I have been involved in the home warranty industry since 2005. Back then, I was still pretty young — only 25 years old! I had just graduated from business school and one of my old friends suddenly came over with the intention of partnering with me to start a company. I still remember him boasting about how this was a particularly good market and telling me that one of the bigger companies at the time was earning hundreds of millions of dollars annually. 

I had a pretty stable job back then as a mortgage broker and no real reason to jump ship. Still, after I heard about this promising opportunity, I quit and decided to explore the world of entrepreneurship without another backward glance.

Looking at it in hindsight, it was probably one of my most clumsiest and most immature moves, but even after that company ended up failing us, I can’t say that I regretted doing it. 

I’ve always believed that, unless I fearlessly kept striding forward, I would only have the life of working under someone else waiting for me. And well, as someone who always wants to be the boss, that kind of lifestyle just isn’t for me!

Now, after years of trying and trying again, learning from my mistakes, and accumulating experience in the home warranty industry, I’ve firmly established myself as the founder and CEO of ServicePlus Home Warranty.

Of course, even though ServicePlus has been standing strong since its founding in 2016, I intend to continue to develop my company—and further my own growth in the process.
